William was the son of George and Martha Conaway Eckelberry. George was the son of John Henry Eckelberry and Catherine Alspair.

EVAN WALTERS TAKEN BY DEATH Evan Walters, aged 76, died from complications at the home of his daughter,Mrs. Howard Casteel, Railroad st., Newcomerstown, Thursday evening at 6 o'clock.
The aged man had been suffering from blood poisoning and erysiplas.He had been visiting for the past week at his daughter's home.He became ill at her home.He lived in the Wesley chapel neighborhood.
Mr. Walters was a farmer.He was a member of the M.E. church.There are surviving his widow and several children.Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Wesley chapel in charge of Rev. M. W. Rafeld, pastor of the Newcomerstown U. B. church.Burial will be made in Wesley Chapel cemetery.
