Hi Ashley, sorry i am late replying.

Our First Eckhardt is August Eckhardt born Germany. His sons August and Johanne Freidrick (later john fredrick ) were also born in Elze? Germany. These two sons were in manchester in 1881. There may have been other brothers that moved elsewhere, like you we have very few Eckhardts in the area.
