Robert Edgecomb did indeed marry Jane L. Iames January 1, 1857.She died on July 9th, 1857.Robert remarried one Martha Bigbee on July 4, 1866.
Robert served in the Army as a Corporal of Company E, Reg. 102, Ohio from August 8, 1862 to January 29th, 1863.
I still do not have an exact date on Waldron's death but it seems to have been possibly in the first quarter of 1860.The first part of the documents I have pertaining to Waldron include the signature of a Catherine Edgecomb, circa 1857.The second part of the documents pertaining to Waldron involves his estate. The earliest estate document is dated March, 1860.Waldron died possibly in Putnam County, Knox County or Richland County, Ohio. The Administrator of Waldron's estate though was a John Iames. Was this possibly Jane and Catherine's brother?
Waldron appears to have had two children, from a family letter, a boy and a girl. The girl's name (from a letter dated January 25, 1905) was Nora Handy of Toledo, Ohio.Unfortunately, the letter does not mention the name of Waldron's son.
Catherine Iames may have remarried after Waldron's death.I have a note paying the amount of $40 as satisfaction for good belonging to the heirs of W.M. Edgecomb, deceased, to a Catherine M. Zimmerman.
Hopefully I may find a date for Waldron's death from the various notes and documents pertaining to his Estate as I go through them.
