I'm a descendant of John Suggett and Sarah Edgecombe also. Their son James is my line. I've noticed on this genforum about John Suggett being born in England 1630. I've just started doing research on my family line and I came across some other info (another line, I think it was "Sharp") that John was born in VA. I have in my possession an old document that was handed down to me. It's a brief outline of our family tree. It's a hand drawn document titled "Unlisted Will of John Suggett,Rappahonnock,VA. April 2,1690 -Died before 1694 (from Wales England, settled in Baltimore MD.)"
It starts out with "Thomas Suggett(no wife listed) then down to John Suggett, wife Sarah Edgecombe(her 1st hubby Robert Baylis,Sr.) John listed as second. Then their children John, James, Edgecombe & Thomas. Does anyone have documentation of John being actually born in 1630 and from England? I think that the person researching "Sharp" family line might be off. I really don't check this website forum much so if you can email me directly at [email protected] I would greatly appreciate it. If you would actually like a copy just contact me also!!
Thanks,
Beverly (Suggett) Dubson
