Strange you would mention that your gggrandmother talked about "Lord and Lady Edgerly"It has been passed down from my grandmother that my gggg grandmother was from a royal family, but know one knew or could tell what the name was.2 years agoI ran across some information that lead me to Indiana. I stoped and got a copy of my gggrandparents marriage lic. and found the correct spelling for her last name, then I found her parents name.Galway. Moore Galway Sr.(which I will call Sr., because they named a son Moore which is my ggg grandfather)Moore Galway Sr. married Mary Elizabeth Edgerly (my gggg grandmother) who was born in Oct. 28, 1793 (at least that is what is on her headstone). Moore came to the United States in 1819. Then in Nov. 1, 1830 Moore and Mary arrived with the family in Philly. They departed from Liverpool England. It is listed in the census that Mary was born in Scotland, but I have yet to find proof of that. You might try looking around Liverpool, Ireland, or Scotland area.I am still looking myself for information on both the Galway and the Edgerly familys.
