We do things in desperation at times Jon. I think that was very resourceful, hope it is this George, you will find out soon enough, hopefully!
Cannot remember where he said he lived, I do remember George mentioning two clans of Edgsons in his part of Canada. The other family were not involved in researching their genealogy. Good luck, hope it works.
I have a Will, that is, I had a Will! Keep forgetting, I lost 'all' my files a week ago, had to use my restore disc (that initially loaded my Windows prog') to gain access to my computer again, it was stuck in a 'Corrupt files' situation. Only option was to reinstall the 'Windows' which overwrites all previous files/data.
I had sent this Will to a friend about a week earlier in an email attachment (very lucky) she will return a copy to me at anytime. It is the Will of John, brother of William Edgson whom I mention in my previous post of Stamford/Pancras families, the second clan in the post. William married to an Ann <(no dates when I posted data but Sheila has since found probable Ann & her marriage/surname etc).
John mentions in his Will of 1819 the brother William, a sister Judith, nephews David (son of above William and Ann) and a nephew 'William of Sawtry' (also the grand nephew and niece, children of above) not much more info on him but this might be a relevant family? Might be of interest to you Jon? Let me know if you need it.
Good luck with contacting George, I don't think he is elderly? Probably just not online now? As I nearly was not. No telling when gremlins will attack the technology!
