My Genealogy quest looks like being life long Janice, I love it. Just when I think I am stuck on various lines, There comes a breakthrough.
My 'Murrell' g/gran (mother of my gran Rose Edgson) was previously married to his older brother. Also my 'Lydney Lott's' (mother of George, Charlotte Edgson) had triplet siblings, previously thought to be twins. never a dull moment. Wondered if you had found little Alice?
Warning about the 1891 Janice, I was ready to return mine, very depressed initially, could not read the names, the original penmanship is so bad in nearly every page I had viewed. The ages had lines across them, hardly able to decipher. Then I bucked up and thought, beter to have it, than not, I am adjusting slowly to the writing. There is no name index as you know, have tried my leads to no avail yet, my Edgsons are not at their previous 1881 addresses.
Do you have any addresses please, or areas? give me all the known ones you have, for London, as I scroll those 1891 streets for mine, i will look for Alice. Is there any others while i am scrolling? no problem to look for others on the pages I have to cover Janice. Regards, Linda. P.S. I had free download of Legacy, I find it marvelous, All generations are linked at a click, it has everything I need to keep my lot organised, bye for now Janice.
