James D. Edminster, 1664-1712. He married Anne Makepeace, 1668-1723. From what I see on Ancestry.com, they had five daughters. Except for their birthdates, they have all disappeared. What happened to them. Outside of dying, theymay have moved south to Virginia, or etc. That was before the French and Indian War, when movement was southward.I have no idea that they did this. But, I am trying to connect my maternal DNA (U5b2) haplotype to Anne Makepeace or her sister and mother, etc. One thread went north to Canada. Anyone have any secret information about this? My maternal line dead ends back in North Carolina with a Charity (last name unknown), born about 1760. Her line eventually moved up to Indiana via Kentucky. It's possible that this U5b2 haplotype traces back to Margaret (last name unknown), born about 1620 in England, and married James Johnson in Massachusetts. She didn't livelong, and only had one child, a daughter Anne Johnson. One of her daughters was Anne Makepeace, mentioned above. I sure would like to connect this DNA.
