Tom,
I don't know if this Edsall line ties into yours or not.
In 1850 - Campbell, Steuben, NY:Samuel Edsall (78 - NY) & Jane Edsall (76 - NJ) with:Milason Edsall (36 - NY) and Harriet Edsall (11 - NY).Living in the household with the family is Eliphas Fish (44 - NY).
Eliphas Fish married Milason Edsall sometime that year as they had a daughter listed as 10 or 11 in the 1860NY, Thurston census.
I am curious to know if these families are related. There is a Lewis line that ties into my Fish line about this time. Most of the Fish brothers & sisters left for Michigan between 1830 and 1850.Only a couple remained behind in New York, mostly in Steuben County.
After 1860 I have not been able to locate Eliphas and Milason (Edsall) Fish.
Mike
