Welcome to the club Mike. There is a group of us that are studing this surname.Though only a few are able to connect I believe there is a connection between all families. Most have gone back to the mid-1800's and if you trace where we come from, it is all the Eivers/Evers/Ivers all come from within a twenty mile radius. Most come from either Co. Westmeah or Co. Longford.
There are two Eugene Eivers that I have on record.Eugene who married Beatrice Delamore. They came from County Westmeath and had a child George. There is also a Eugene K Eivers who married a Mary Ellen Carrew who had three children, that we know of, Thomas William, born November 1865, Eugene K born April 1867 and Francis Alice who was born in August 1868.They also came from Co. Westmeath. In their instance we know the town was Ballyncarrigy. Are either of these your relatives?I did find a William Alfred Eivers, married to a woman named Ann ???who had two children but they came from Liverpool England.
