Thank you for the info.I did have a lot of it already, and my husband's father and grandfather are shown on that census, so guess Robert was living with them at that time. I'll have to send for his death certificate to determine where he is buried, and just hope it shows the location.Still trying to find out where and when Mary Jane Patterson Elder died and is buried.Off the Elder family subject, I see you have an Elder Revolutionary War ancestor who served with the Bedford Co.
