Benjamin Lawrence Eller III (Jami) and Amanda Karen Kilpatrick were joined in Holy Matrimony on June 3, 2006, at the Mt. Vernon Mennonite Church, Kirkwood, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.The Christian Worship event was officiated by the Rev. Benjamin L. Eller, Jr., father of the groom.The wedding theme was “Today I will marry my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love.”
Amanda is the daughter of Ron and Karen Kilpatrick of Oxford, Pennsylvania.Her grandmother, Kathryn Kilpatrick, of Oxford, was also present for the wedding.Benjamin’s parents, Benjamin and Judy Eller, Jr. reside in Kirkwood, Pennsylvania.Benjamin’s grandparents, Benjamin and Pauline Eller, Sr. of Abingdon, Maryland were also present.
Amanda’s Maid of Honor was Malory Hoag.The Bridesmaids were Dawn Cruse, Deann Kilpatrick, Heather Kilpatrick and Shari Kilpatrick.Her Flower Girl was Kathleen Welch.Benjamin’s Best Man was Shannon Siecrist.Groomsmen were Ramiro DeJesus, Toby Delevieleuse, Jonathon Kilpatrick and Nate Lavoie.The Ring Bearer was Caleb Delevieleuse.Megan Lavoie was Guest Book Attendant.
The wedding music was presented by members of the Crossroads Community Church Praise & Worship Band of Bel Air, Maryland.Members included Bill and Judi Fritz and Kathy Scarborough.The music included several contemporary Christian songs including, “Here I Am To Worship”, “Who Am I”, “Love Of My Life”, and “Bless The Broken Road”.Bill Fritz and Kathy Scarborough presented a saxophone and piano duet of “Forever In Love” as well.The flowers on the Unity Candle table were placed in memory and honor of Benjamin and Amanda’s grandparents.The mother’s recited the poem, “Hands of the Bride and Groom” during the ceremony.
The reception was held at the Rising Sun Banquet Hall, Rising Sun, Maryland.Groomsman and brother of the Bride, Jonathon Kilpatrick, blessed the meal.The Maid of Honor, Malory Hoag and Best Man, Shannon Siecrist toasted the new couple.Mr. & Mrs. Eller spent their first ten days as husband and wife in a luxury cabin in the mountains of Tennessee.Upon returning home, Mr. and Mrs. Eller will reside in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Eller is a 1994 graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and a 1997 graduate of York Technical Institute, York, Pennsylvania.He is currently a Lead Civil Engineering Designer for The ArroGroup, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.Mrs. Eller is a 2001 graduate of Oxford Area High School, Oxford, Pennsylvania and Coatesville Area Technical School in Cosmotology.She is also a graduate of the Brandywine School of Cosmotology and is a Hair Dresser.
