It was quite interesting to learn more about the latr generation Endsley family still living in the Warsaw area.
The info Linda provided goes beyond what I have in our old family tree....I have more of the older generations.
Robert L. Endsley's father was James C. Endsley (1831-1921) married to Nancy Jane Reed (1836-1915).Besides Robert L., they had eight other children.
James C. Endsley's father was Thomas Blaine Endsley (1801-1894, born in PA to John and Jane Blaine Endsley, came with his parents to Harrison County, OH around 1810 and then to Clark Twp in Coshocton County after marriage) James C. Endsley's mother was Matilda Karr (1805-1852), born in PA to John and Nancy Welch Karr, came with her parents to Harrison County, OH, around 1820.Thomas and Matilda met and married in Harrison County on Feb 26, 1824, and then moved to Coshocton County before 1829.Besides James C., they had ten other children.
I have additional information on the ancestors/siblings/desendents of John Endsley and parents/siblings of Matilda Karr.Let me know if you are interested and we can communicate further.
I was very interested in seeing the Bucklew connection to this family. It seems that there was a lot of inter-marrying between the early families in the northern farm country in Coshocton County and I've always wondered why we didn't show any Bucklews in our family tree - now I know that there are some.My gggrandfather (Matilda Karr's brother Robert), owned a farm on Bucklew Run in Bethlehem Twp, where my ggrandfather and ggrandmother lived most of their married life.
