Here is some information i got . Aunt Betsy as she became known in Maury County , was born in 1686 in Germany , and this would make her 148 going on 149 when she died . her early years are obscure as no one recorded her maiden name . In 1702 , when she was sixteen, she migrated to the British Colonies, now the United States . The ship which she was a passenger stopped at Southampton , England , to take on more passengers and freight . She and some of her shipboard friends went ashore to witness the great demonstrations and celebrations being held in connection with the coronation of Queen Anne . ( Queen Anne was crowned April 23 , 1702 . ) In the new world she first lived in Virginia where she married a man named Eppinger , by whom she had eight children . After his death she moved to South Carolina where she marriedMartin Tranthamand had a family of three daughters and one son . In 1808 , at the age of 122 yrs , she came to Tennessee with her children and many grandchildren . despite concern by the her family, she stood the trip well . They all settled in Williamson County with the exception of her daughter Parmelia , who married Charles Gray and lived in Maury County . Another daughter , who married Francis Parker , later lived in Maury Countyand there is some indications that her daughter Rachel , Mrs. Lawrence Burns , also came to Maury County .
