ROBERT LEO ERDMAN, 20, of Pipestone, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, in Pipestone County.
Born Dec. 7, 1985, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D., he was the son of Rodney and Ruth Veld Erdman.
He lived with his parents from December 1985 to August 1986 in Lismore. They then moved to Pipestone, where he was raised and attended school. While attending high school, he was employed at Quarry Twin Theatre in 2001 and at Pipestone Interiors from 2003-2004. After his graduation from Pipestone Area High School in 2004, he moved to Brainerd and attended Central Lakes Community College. He moved back to Pipestone in February 2006 and became employed at 3M Industries, Brookings, S.D. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pipestone. He was active in Boy Scout Local Troop 220 while growing up and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was active as the cameraman for PAS football and gymnastics while in high school.
Surviving are his parents, Pipestone; one brother, Randy Erdman, Pipestone; and grandparents Earl and Joyce Erdman, Lismore.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Pipestone.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Pipestone. Burial will be in New Woodlawn Cemetery, Pipestone.
Hartquist Funeral Home, Pipestone Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
