Well Wiley, all of my Jose Estradas were born way prior to 1886, also Jose was a common first name, what you need is to try to get a middle name also. I have three Jose', 1. Jose Maria, bn. 1743 @ San Jose del Cabo B.C. Mx. Jose Mariano, bn. 1784 @ Loreto, Baja Ca.;Jose Raymundo, bn. 1790 @ Loreto, Baja Ca.; Jose Mariano also had 4 sons born with the first manes of Jose between 1807 and 1821, all born in Monterey Ca.; also Jose Raymindo had 4 sons born Jose, one of which was my Great Grandfather Jose Guadalupe Rafael Paias Estrada, all of whom were also born in Monterey, Ca, between 1813 and 1820. As you should see from this the middle name is very important. Good lick on your search!!!!!! Have you tried looking in Hubert Howe Bancrofts Works, History of Arizona and New Mexico? This book can sometimes be found at your local library, if not your local library may be able to get a copy via inter-library loan.
