Just found your reply. I'd love to reproduce this but I'm sorry that it's far too long to copy, and probably illegal too. I have Dick Eure's book on the Eures before America. He acknowledges help from the author of the article in writing his book.
Any points I can help on, let me know though.
My interest is that it appears that the name starts off as Evre which is the same as Eure in early handwriting, then mutates to Evers and Vevers.
I'm keen to find out how the Eures of USA branched off.
