Linda,

I have been told by one of John Mordan's descendants (Gary Silter) that he believes Mary Eveland (wife of John Mordan) to be the daughter of Peter Eveland (b. 1752) from Mansfield Twp, NJ who moved to Columbia Co. PA around 1780.John Mordan was thought to have followed Peter to Columbia Co. a few years later.I don't believe he know if Mary married John Mordan before or after leaving NJ.
