Very interesting that there were two John & Sarah Ewalts living at the same time.I am a Dunkley researcher who never heard of the Ewalts until I found a document that showed that Sarah Dunkley (the daughter of Richard & Esther Dunkley and granddaughter of Oliver Dunkley who bought land in Philadelphia in 1688 and firmly settled there) was the wife of John Ewalt in 1749 in PA.They lived in East Nantmeal in 1753 where Sarah's sister also lived (census record).
The names of your John & Sarah's children are extremely similar as my Sarah Dunkley's parents and siblings:
Richard & Esther (parents, her father possibly Samuel Savage).Richard & Esther's children:Oliver, John, Ann, Jean, Anna, Sarah, Mary, Hester, Rebecca.
Your John & Sarah's names are suspiciously like Dunkley names.Do you think it possible that my John & Sarah visited his homeland and returned?
