I am decended from Simon's son Jesse Whetstone.Here is what I have on Nancy Caroline Eyman daughter of Susann Whetstone born in 1770 in Hardy Co., WV and died on 8/10/1852 or 5/1852 in St. Clair Co., IL.She came to Illinois in the 1790's.Susann married Abraham Eyman (son of Christian Eyman and Catharine Unknown) on 4/27/1790 in Hardy Co., WV.Abraham was born in 1767 in Lancaster, PA and died on 6/8/1831 in Belleville, St. Clair Co., IL.I don't have any parents listed for Nancy Hire wife of Simon Whetstone but if I can remember the web site where I found the info, I'll let you know.I also have Simon married a second time to Francis A. Richardon on 8/21/1864 in Auglaize Co., OH.
Mary Eyman (daughter of Ulrich Eyman/Eymann and Mary Unknown) married George Whetstone in 1804 in Ross County, OH.She was born 10/14/1809 in OH or Germany and died on 11/18/1881 in Auglaize Co., OH.She was buried in Buckland, OH.The Eymann family is from Bern, Switzerland, and were Anabaptists (forerunners of Mennonites and Amish) and went to Germany to escape persecution, lived there for a while, then came to Lancaster Co., PA.I have 7 children listed for George and Mary Eyman.Let me know if you want the names.
