Marian,
I do not have any Eysters. They just married into my Franklin Co. Snider/Snyder families. I know the name is sometimes spelled Oyster and there was a Daniel Oyster in Berks Co. who married Catharine Roseborn 1750's d/o Erhard Rose. Daniel Oyster was a clockmaker. The only child I know for them was Charles Oyster.
Daniel Oyster was the son of John George Oyster, a Berks Co. pioneer. I believe these families were of Germany and so would be Pa. Dutch (Deutsch).
The families in Franklin Co. descended from John Jacob Eyster chr 1 June 1665 died 1745 and buried New Hanover churchyard, Montgomery Co., Pa.
He had a son Chrisian Oyster b. 1710 who married Anna Margarette Schneisser 2 Feb 1732 Phila. Pa.
They had a son Christian born 1745 York Co. Pa.
He had a son Peter Eyster 1783-1832 who m. Rosanna Maria Snyder (1794-1863)
They had a son Christian Eyster 1813-1888 who married Elizabeth Senseny.
I hope I have this correct. It is what I gleaned from GenForum.
