I always assumed Andre Faber (26) was the son of
Nicholas Faber (56), athough he could have been a
newphew.Jean/John Faber, who was 9 in 1845, would
have been 24 in 1860, when the census showed him
married w/4-children. Could this possibly be your
family?
My Pletschette/Plettschette family moved from the
Chicago area to Iowa around 1859.
PS:Young was also Jung.
