John, Thanks for the information. I don't see a connection, but will keep your data for future research. Ann Mould (Mold, Moule) who married James Fairley Sept.4, 1841 at Houghton-le-spring, married (2) George HammondSept.12, 1862. Ann and George Hammond had only three daus. that I know about. They were Sarah Elizabeth, Selina, and Matilda.
One of Ann Mould Fairley's daughters, Ann Fairley, married a Thomas Hammond Dec.9, 1861 (I believe in Shildon). They had 3 daus. also: Amy, Minnie, and Eva. Information that I have shows that Minnie married a Stanley Hird. Eva married Jack Spencely and they had a shop in their home on St. John's Road in Shildon for a short period of time before moving to Darlington. Eva's mother, Ann Mould Fairley Hammond, evidently went to Darlington to live about 1925.
Possibly you or someone in England can figure out more about this family, but I don't know any more and have been trying to learn. Ruth
