My g-g-g-grandparents were Tommaso FALCONE & Rosa GAGLIARDI, married before 1816.According to the marriage of their son, Tommaso and Rosa were both from Grimaldi, Cosenza, Calabria. The only child of theirs that I have so far located, is my g-g-grandfather, Vincenzo FALCONE b.c1816 in Grimaldi.Vincenzo married, in 1836 in Grimaldi, Antonia NOTTI, b. c1812 to Marco NOTTI (b.c1775) & Francesca ANSELMO (b.c1778).

* My grandparents & uncle
So far I have only located these three sons of Vincenzo & Antonia NOTTI FALCONE, and all three of them were found in the Villalba marriage records.In each record, their parents are listed as deceased, so I have reason to believe that the three brothers left their Grimaldi home after the death of their parents.I also have reason to believe that they were NOT the only children of Vincenzo & Antonia NOTTI FALCONE, but I have no leads on were any other children may have ended up....it does not appear that they were in Villalba, unless they came there as married woman, whose last names I wouldn't have known to look for, but the way the Italian records are, I think I would have noticed the Falcone name in the records.
My grandparents emigrated through Ellis Island to Rochester, NY c1907, where they stayed with my great-aunt and her husband, Maria Giuseppa FALCONE & Felice ROTOLO.From there they went on to Buffalo, NY, where my grandmother's family had settled, and finally moving to Le Roy, in Genesee County, NY, where my father, Joseph Frank FALCONE was born in 1920.
If ANY of this looks familiar to ANYONE, I would LOVE to hear from you!!!(PLEASE contact me at my e-mail below!!!) I don't have a lot of further info, but am willing to share what I have with others searching this family!!!
