I have a great great great grandmother, Isabella Falconer McCulloch who was born in 1794 in Forres, Morayshire and died 4/18/1825. She is buried in the Dyke Church cemetery. She was the first wife of John McCulloch. Their first son, John McCulloch b. 11/24/1812, was baptized 12/10/1812, at the Church of Scotland in Dyke and witnesses at his baptism were his uncle, John Falconer from Dyke and his aunt, Mary Falconer who resided at that time in Mill of Brodie. There was a letter sent John McCulloch, junior in 1840 from his uncle James Falconer who was a professor at th4e Royal Academy in Inverness. I do not know if there are any connections. This information was obtained from the parish register of the Kirk Session at Dyke from a long deceased distant cousin. I have pictures of Isabella's grave but when I was there I was on time limitations and did not even think to check out other gravestones for other Falconer.
