Dear Jack
Thank you for responding to my message regarding the Fallin/Follin's in Maryland and Virginia. I have a fair amount of information on some of the Fallin's going back to abt 1809-1880 to Daniel Fallin and his wife Susan A. (nee Pritchett)Fallin- 1811-1884 both born Dorchester, Md. and both died Baltimore City, Md. They were both my Great Grandparents. It is my desire to find the PARENTS of Daniel Fallin and Susan Pritchett with some real documention to prove the line.I am sure you know there were a number of Daniel Fallin's in different generations. I do know that Daniel & Susan had children-Elvira, James Henry, Isabelle Frances, Sarah and Daniel W.Fallin/Follin. I have tombstone pictures of Daniel & Susan along with some death certificates proving relationship. Any help you are able to supply would be apprciated. I have a couple of leads, but so far no proof.
I had in the pass some communcation with a lady from Washington with the name Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Hughes) Roberts. She reported to me on the phone some years ago that her mother Elizabeth (nee Bunch)Hughes-1904-1995 was the mother of Augusta (nee Walker)Bunch-1866-1937, who was the mother of Elvira Fallin/Follin 1842-1918. She mentioned that Elvira's brother was James Henry Follin and he died at or near Antietam. That makes my Grandmother his sibling along with Elvira, Sarah and Daniel W. Fallin. She sent me some clippings of the families death records; along with family records that proved our relationship. Betty was born in 1926 in Washington, DC, however, my last letter has gone unanswered and I have not been able to make further contact this time. I am hoping that all is well.
Thanking you in advance for anything.
