Lance Been following your messages along with Jack Fallin for some time. Believing there is a connection somewhere down the line. Some day we will get it all together. I am a descendant of and have proven the relationship to one Daniel W. Fallin/Follin born abt. 1809-1816 Dorchester County, Md. he married Susan A. Pritchett also of Dorcehester Co., Md. The moved to Balto., City about 1848. They were my Great Grandparents. This Daniel served in the Civil War, 5th Md Inf. he inlisted 1861 and went out 1863 on a disabilty discharged. They had children Elvira, James H., Isabella Frances,(Isabella was my Grandmother),Sarah and another Daniel Fallin. James (his son) also joined the Cival War in Septof 1861, I think that is why his father Daniel joined up the month later to keep watch over son. Anyway James fought at Antietam and later died from disease in 1862. I have family records received from a Betty (Roberts) Hughes that connect to our family through Daniel & James sister Elvira. Betty was living in a nursing home in Virginia a couple years ago. My last letter to her has gone unanswered?? I have some information on Ancestry, but I don't open all my files. I am aware of some of the information you sent on Redmond, Rachel Mill, and Barnaby. And the "Fallin Cove". I've never thought about doing the DNA, it sounds a bit heavy for me. I am 72 years young, originally from Baltimore City, Maryland, lived in Severna Park for 30+ years, now have a Condo in the Crofton area of Md. and presently live in Bethany Beach Del. with my husband of 50 years next year. Been doing this research thing for about 8-10 yearsin my spare time. I have death certificates proven relationship on both Daniel & Susan Fallin buried at Mt. Olivet, Balto., Md., and of course other family info.. Been trying to confirm the parents of my Daniel W. Fallin born about 1809-1816 to prove or connect the relaitonship of Ann Fallin that married Asbury. This Ann was daughter of Captain Fallin that founght in the War of 1812. She is recorded in the "Register of Maryland Heraldic Families" along with her father Capt. Daniel Fallin, who was the son of Major daniel Fallin of the Revo. War. It all seems to fit, if only I could confirm the parents name of my Daniel (born 1810-1816). It may very be Daniel & Mary McNamara, but need confirmation. I found this Mary McNamara & Daniel in the marriage records on line, but feel I need further info. As you well know the early census records are a lot of guess work on the family members. Than I can go back closer to Redmond Fallin. Oh boy??? Hope all works well for you and getting your paper work in hand.
