Excellent post. This material coincides with many things I have researched. Here are some other items to note:
I show William Fallin married Elizabeth Hames, not Hanes.I also show William’s estate did not close until 1831 (Charlotte Court Order Book 28 page 258 October 3, 1831).Stimpson Fallin is also mention on the same page.Stimpson is settling the estate of his father in law John Fears.Stimpson died about two years later. His estate was sold November 29, 1833.His estate sales are recorded in Charlotte County Will Book 7 page 179 and final accounting recorded five pages later. It’s interesting to note that Stimpson is listed as an heir in his mother will. She must have written it prior to Stimpson’s death and did not change it prior to her death.Definitely need to look this will up next trip.
I show the children of Stimpson Fallin and Nancy Fears as James E. Fallin, Lafayette H. Fallin, Ann Eliza Fallin and William Putnam Fallin. (Charlotte Court Order Book 29 page 148 March 3, 1835) James E. married Elizabeth Sharp December 20, 1844.I found James E. and Elizabeth in the 1850 Charlotte County Census.
Nancy Fallin married first James Middleton as you mentioned but then I believe she married Tarpley Dickerson next on December 2, 1830.A Nancy Dickerson is an estate buyer at Stimpson’s auction.Tarpley and Nancy are also enumerated in the 1850 Charlotte County Census.
