Elijah and Martha Rich Fann had 14 children who lived.They married in 1807 or later probably in Burke County.They lived at different times in Montgomery and Laurens Counties before moving to southwest Georgia and lived in Decatur, Miller and Early Counties.They are buried at Fann Family Cemetery now known as Mother's New Home Cemetery, Miller County Georgia.Their childern were:
Sarah Ann, b about 1813 in Laurens County GA., married Lewis Griffin
William M. b about 1814 in Lauens Co; married 1847 in Early Co. to Lennis "Liney" Grimes.
* Latisha "Lettie",b 1816 in Lauens Co; d 1870 from the measles, married 1836 in Decatur Co. to Thomas J. Rich, b 1816, the son of Martin Rich an d Sarah Overstreet, buried Mother's New Home.(This is my family line)
Lucie (Lucile), b 1818 in Lauens Co.,d 1873; married Seaborn Thompson, b 1817, d 1858. Both are buried Mars Hill Church Cemetery, Calhoun Co. GA.
Eliza, b about 1818 in Lautens or Decatur Co.married 1833 to Allen Hatten.
Catherine,b March 6, 1819 in Laurens Co. d June 4, 1899, married Stephen Cowart.
Mary "Polly" Penelope, b about 1821 married William Thompson. (In contact with present family)
Melvina,b about 1823, married Leonidas Pitt Duke.
Carolyn, b 1827, married John Donalson
*Rhoda Ann, born about 1828 in Miller Co. GA, married in Early Co. 1849 to Elijah Middleton.
John, b 1829, married Emiline Harrel.
Jane,b 1831, married Allen Grimes.
Zelphia (Sylphia), b 1833, married John Leornard Lofton.
Alsia, b 1835, married Perry Jordan.
