Dear Tom, I am not 100% sure of Jehu's death date, either.My only source was the lawsuit that I mentioned and your information in regards to that lawsuit seems to omit the part about Jehu's death.

April Court 1770 Robert Donald & Co.--plantiff Jehu Fanning--defendant Defendant didn't show and judgement went against him on his estate.It appears that he lost 1/2 a hogshead of tobacco. page 322-- April 1770, They reported to the court that the defendant, Jehu Fanning had departed this life.The case was dismissed.
