Pedro Farias lives in San Antonio, but was born in Saspamco,Texas. His father, Pablo worked in the Saspamco/Graytown/Elmendorf area and the family moved onto a ranch along the San Antonio River near Elmendorf, Texas.
Our Francisco Farias (there were many men with that same name) originally owned the ranch where the above family lived.
As for the others, I don't know for sure where they were born or raised, but most are buried in a cemetery in Graytown, Wilson County, Texas.
Graytown was named for Scottish immigrant James Gray,qv who brought in laborers and renters to develop the land that his wife, Simona Fernandez Seguín, inherited from her father. I have not checked to see if her father was Juan Sequin, who is the namesake of your town.
All of these places are about 40 - 45 miles southwest of Sequin, Texas.
This just in: Santiago Guzman (?? - 1950s; lived in both San Antonio and Somerset, Texas) is a second cousin of Pablo Farias. I don't know yet whether this is maternal or paternal. As the story is remembered, when Santiago died, Pablo knew him, but did not know that Santiago was his cousin. He was told by another relative of the relationship.
Ignacio - the oldest Jesus Guadalupe Emilia Carolina Maria Santiago - (known as Jimmy) This would be a junior, but not the first born son.
********* Also, while talking to my mother-in-law on Sunday, she remembers some Chacons and Pachecos that are somehow related from Floresville.
Just maybe you can find a match to something in your tree in all of this!!!!
