I found a marriage record for a JOHN W. GRACE and ELIZABETH FARLOW on 4 Mar. 1824 in Rush County, Indiana.REUBEN FARLOW was the Justice of the Peace.I would like to prove or not that these are my ggggrandparents. This is what I have:In Linn County, Iowa, on the 1850 census, I foundJOHN and ELIZABETH GRACE and family.(These are my ggggrandparents.)JOHN is 45, born in Virgina; ELIZABETH is 44, born in N. Carolina. Children are: GEORGE W., 23; WILLIAM, 19; MARY A., 16; AMLING, 13; TELITHA J., 10; LUCRETIA, 7.All the children were born in Indiana.I also found a JOHN GRACE on the 1830 census in Rush County, Indiana. All the children match for this couple, except that an older daughter is listed. In 1840, JOHN GRACE and family are listed in Hamilton County, Indiana.Father and children match here too, this also includes an older daughter, but there is no mother listed and no baby which would have been TALITHA.I believe that the mother has gone to someone else's home to have her baby and wasn't home for the census.I don't know any more about JOHN and ELIZABETH.I have information on some of the children:GEORGE W. was in Kansas in 1860, in Oregon in 1880, and his wife is a widow in 1900 in Oregon.AMLING, which I believe is suppose to be AMBERY, is living in Oregon in 1900.TALITHA marries Ben, Benjamin, Benager, or Beniah COLEMAN (This is my line.)They are in Kansas in 1860, in Nebraska in 1880 and in 1882 Ben marries LUCRETIA (the youngest daughter)(Talitha most likely died.)This is Lucretia's second marriage, her first husband is WASHINGTON MANN.Please help me, if you can.I would like to find JOHN's parents and ELIZABETH's parents, but I need to know her maiden name.Could FARLOW be it?
