I thought you might like the content of a handwritten tree with rather sparse information (e.g. dates!).
Francis Farquharson of Whitehouse, Aberdeen, m. Euphemia Ross of Archlossen, a son was Henry Farquharson of Shiels.
Henry had sons Alexander, Henry and Charles (1742-97).
Charles went to the West Indies as a surgeon and settled at Spring Vale, Jamaica. He had 10 children, the youngest of whom was Commodore William Tatham Farquharson (1794-1849) of Hazel Grove, Jamaica, who had 7 children inc second eldest Colonel Matthew Henry Farquharson (1839-1917)and siblingsIsabella, Gordon, Anna and Arthur Theodore.
Matthew married Emma Loat (1844-1929) who had 13 children, including my grandmother Eirene Farquharson who married Cecil Carington.
Another, typed, tree has Charles married to Miss Smith (I presume Frances Tatham Smith), daughter of Matthew Smith.
William Tatham Farquharson married Elizabeth Paine, a lady from Jersey.
I would love to know more!
