The name is mispelled. On page 41 and 42 she described how her mother came and got her and they stayed in a little hut. On a rainy night while her mother is cooking what little food she has found that day a white woman and three little children knock on the door asking if they can come in out of the rain.
Both women set up talking and the woman says her husband was killed in the war and they are walking to their nearest relatives a long ways away and Annie's mother says I just got my children back from the Farrin Plantation.
The location of the plantation and forenames match. At the botton of page 6 and the top of page seven the husband and wife call each other William and Sarah Anne.
On page 37 and 38 she says their daughters are named Mary and Martha.
I have that William Farrior and Sarah Ann (Monroe) Farrior are buried in the Farrior Family Cemetery east of Clayton. turn south from hwy 80 to the Pleasant Plains Church. The cemetery is on the right in a cow pasture 100 yards south of hwy 30.
