Thanks for posting this info from the Jackson County records. It's just another piece of evidence that supports that Moses Faubion's wife was an Etherton. In 1850, Moses Faubion's household was next to Micajah Etherton.
Moses Faubion married 2nd widow Harriet Fowler Stacy (mother-in-law to William Faubion who married Mary Martha Stacy).
Moses' daughter Jane married Philip Murphy 9/2/1852 in Jackson Co., IL.They had 2 children:James Day Murphy and William Gaines Murphy.Philip died before 1860.
Jane married 2nd, William Scott, in Hickory Co., MO.They had one child, Emma.William died about 1872 in Pikes Peak Colorado [no verification].
Jane married 3rd, Mr. McCaslin.
Elizabeth Jane (Faubion) McCaslin outlived 3 husbands and died Nov 14, 1917 in St. Clair Co. MO.Her death certificate is currently available through the Missouri Death Certificate Index. Her name is misspelled as Elizebeth.
