Reference your message, forget maybe, probably etc. and work with what you've got- the oldest stuff you've got.Moore Fauntleroy was here in the 1630's. If you're starting out at 1730, you've got several generations to go through to get to the first Moore.
Never allow yourself to make broad assumptions.Been there, done that. I can tell you for certain, it's not fun to have re-do 150 years or so.
Lancaster County, Old Rappahannock County, Richmond County and Essex are very well documented. Moore's family is very well documented.
You didn't say where your people first came in- Virginia, along the Rappahannock River, in North Carolina ...? You've got to have a starting point and at least one document or date.Wilkes County to North Farnham is a nice piece of geography.What facts do you have?
