The Huguenot Society in Charleston had very little on the Faurés until I gave them a copy of my notes. I published a lengthy paper on the Fauré family in the last issue (Vol. 12 No.4) of the Orangeburgh German-Swiss Newsletter (see www.ogsgs.org to order).
The most detailed source on the Petit-Guerard colony as a whole is: Childs, St. Julien. Jan-Apr 1942. The Petit-Guérard Colony. The South Carolina Historical and Genealogical Magazine, Vol. XLIII, issues 1-2. If you don't have easy access to this publication, you should know that the Magazine is soon to be added to the on-line scanned publications available through JSTOR. This is a subscription service that virtually every college and university library has. If you don't have access personally, you can go to a library and access through their subscription. I believe it will be several months before the Magazine is accessible in this way, but when it is, it is will be a very useful help to many researchers.
