You've certainly got a good forum going.I had collected some information on the Fausey family in Northampton County because I'm a descendant of the Faus (Faas) family of Northampton County.I thought there might be a connection but it looks like there isn't.I thought I would post some of my information to help with conflicts and in hopes that you may have information on my family.
1)Philip Face (should be Faas)in 1790 census in Northampton County is related to my family. He was mentioned in your forum. There were 2 Fausey (Fausi) families in Moore Twp, Northampton County, listed as Face also.
2)My Faas family attended the Dryland Church, Hecktown, Lower Nazareth Twp, Northampton County, along with the Fausey family
3)My ancestor, Heinrich (Henry) Faas b. abt 1775 m. Elisabeth and had the son, Thomas b. 1804, baptised at the Schoenersville Church, Hanover Twp, Lehigh County. (Just south of Allen Twp, Northampton County)Henry, Jr. was born about 1809.Supposedly, the family lived in Whitehall Twp, Lehigh County, across the river from Allen Twp, Northampton County, where Heinrich died.
4)Heinich Faas' (Faus) family moved to Columbia County as did the Fausey family.I don't know if they moved as a unit or not.Heinrich's wife, Elisabeth, married a Krisher, and then Jacob Snyder.
5)The first record of my Faus family in Columbia County is Thomas Fause in the 1830 census in Pine (then part of Madison) Twp.Thomas has been mentioned in your forum.Thomas died in Pine Twp and is buried at the Faus (Wesley) Church, Talmar, Pine Twp.
6)The first record I have for Henry Faus, Jr. is from the 1850 census, when he is living in Hemlock Twp, Columbia County.Henry moved to Ohio before the next census.
If anyone has come across records from my family I would appreciate learning of them.
