William Henry (Harry) Fawcett

I am trying to find any information on my grandfather's father as no father is listed on his baptism certificate.He was born in 1882 in Warwickshire, England.His mother was Caroline Elizabeth Fawcett.My grandfather came to Canada from England when he was about 8 years old to live with the Reed Family.My 80 year old mother is really interested to find out more about his parents since we have no idea who his father was.Assuming his father was a married person so they wouldn't want to disclose his name on the baptism records.Any "stories" passed down on who this father might be would be appreciated!
