I found your post quite interesting... I'm desperately trying to find out any information on my family from Chicago as well - I think we may be distantly related.
My name is Melissa Martin and my Grandfather was Frank J. Martin from Chicago, IL (I never met him, he passed when my father was very very young).
My Grandfather (Frank J Martin) had 2 sisters named Josephine (married Paul Featherkile) and May (married Julius Feldman).
Josephine married a man named Paul Featherkile which sounds like it may be your relative...
Paul Featherkile's year of birth was 1896 and Josephine Featherkile's year of birth was @ 1900. What I know they had two children named: Robert and Barbara - which is what caught my attention to your posting.
I have a photo copy of Paul Featherkile's WWI registration card for the draft in 1917. His middle initial is M. From the registration card his actual DOB is May 4th, 1896. It also states he had Black hair and Blue Eyes.
I also have been told that Paul and Josephine lived at Silver Lake (outside of Chicago??) and owned a concession stand and penny pitch.
Do you know how many children Robert and Barbara had and their names?
I'm looking for any information that the family would have on Josephine Featherkile and her family from Chicago, IL. Josephine's maiden name was Martin. My Grandfather left Chicago, IL in his late twenty's and never visited his family again as far as we know. The Martin's also owned a business in Chicago and I have a little bit of info here and there but I don't even know what nationality he, Josephine or May was and was wondering if you had any information on Paul Featherkile's wife Josephine.
