...It takes me awhile!I just saw your follow-up post.I moved to FL right after asking Chet about that book.I think I got to use the library computer twice during the next year and only had time to reply to one, if I was lucky before my time was up (I'm slow to navigate the web!).....now I have my own at home and can play catch-up!
I would like to know how to get a copy of Omer's book.I think Omer died, didn't he?(I kept updated via Earl Feathers, but have lost touch with him for over year now).Omer wrote me years ago when Earl contacted me over an ad I'd placed in the Kingsport, TN paper asking for Feathers info. in 1995/96.I seem to be on my own now doing this so a reference book would be handy!
Does your book mention Isaac G. Feathers married to Tavia Knox Feathers? If so, does it mention Isaac's parents or whether or not he &/or Tavia were of Cherokee or any other native american descent?Does it mention him being Irish?See the web-page I made of them today @ http://www.genealogy.com/users/f/e/a/Bettie-lynn-Feathers/http://www.genealogy.com/users/f/e/a/Bettie-lynn-Feathers/ (I'm just guessing that that's the way you get to it!)
The name of the page is Feathers Ancestory..........Down to Bettie Lynn Feathers. It's limited, but all I really have on record. The irish connection from Earl is Iffy.I'm totally confused about the whole thing!
