We have a John Feemster in our genealogy study. It seems to fit your research in many ways. What I have is his father was Samuel, and John was born on the east side of the Broad River on 2-27-1771 and died on 4-21-1817.It states John owned a plantation on which the present town of York is located. He was a clock maker and married Margaret Alexander in 1775.Children were Eli B.,Adaline C., Minos, Malissa, John Orpheus, Hester, Samuel Warren and Eliza.
I am a descendant of John Orpheus.
John is buried in the Cemetery at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church.Wife died in 1827, states probably buried in Frankllin Co.
Is this any of the info you are seeking. Are we from the same Feemster Clan.
