Synopsis of "Brothers In Arms"
"Brothers In Arms" is an action packed thriller set in the troubled Northern Ireland. It has everything to offer the reader from poverty to romance, deceit, murder, brutality and excitement. Each chapter has a twist to it, and you will find it impossible to put it down once you've started. The story begins in Dublin, Ireland about a young boy
Danny 'Boy' Kelly who is educated by the Christian Brothers, A Roman Catholic teaching body which was
infiltrated by paedophiles who brutalised the young children who were in their care.
Danny Kelly was one of the lucky one's to escape their advances, only because of his eldest brother intervening by giving the so-called Christian Brother teacher a beating. The eldest lad, Big Jack Kelly runs away from home as he thought that he had brought shame on his family for what he'd done. Danny leaves school and works in a national
newspaper and through the years works his way up to becoming a reporter. In his spare time he loves to play
the guitar in the pubs & clubs of Dublin, where he become's good friends with a student from the university near his work. They split up after his friend graduates. But their paths are soon to cross again when Danny is sent up to the troubled Northern Ireland. He falls madly in love with his friend's sister, even though they are from different backgrounds and faiths.
He is dragged into a web of murder and treachery and gets involved with the warring paramilitary's of both the IRA and the UFF, which brings killings to both of their family's. In a desperate effort to get out of their situation they
commit crimes and murder which follows them around.
