Dot- my reply is somewhat off-topic but I was scrolling through message boards trying to find a recent posting so I could contact you.I'm assuming the addresses you posted from back in 1999-2000 don't work anymore.
I had a question about your Patrick Feeney & Bridget Lannon.Like someone else who contacted you years ago, I am researching the family of a Mary Feeney in the Rooskey area.
Do you know if your Patrick was connected to a James Feeney who married Catherine "Bridget" Tiernan (or) Finnane? According to her American death certificate, these are the parents of Mary (Feeney) Dooner, born about 1827 in Co. Roscommon.
Mary Feeney married about 1856 to John Dooner who was a landowner in Rooskey. Mary and the children immigrated to Chicago on the SS City of Berlin, arriving in NY on 19 May 1879. I have baptismal records for three of her children which place the family in Derrymoylin, Rooskey c.1865-c.1872.
While this may not be your "lost" Mary who came to America, I was hoping you had information about extended family for Patrick, perhaps showing that he was related to this James Feeney?
