Hi George. This is quite interesting indeed. I have very little info because this is the family of my birth father. I am finding out more everyday.
This is what is going to be interesting--
You say you are a Moody descended from Clement--I take it you mean Clement Moody??
Well, Moody Bean was born about 1801, Sandwich, Carroll, New Hampshire. He died 28 Feb 1882 Belmont, Belknap, New Hampshire. He married Hannah Felch 2 Aug, 1829 (presumably somewhere in NH).
And get this: HIS parents names were CLEMENT Bean, II and Abigail Glines/Glimes. No dates on them.
So now we have your Clement Moody and my Moody Bean and Clement Bean. Has to be a tie up there somewhere considering all are from the state of New Hampshire!!
What do you think?
Moody Bean had a daughter, Olive Bean b 14 Oct 1842 who married Reuben P Willard. They had a son Daniel M Willard b 14 June, 1862 who married Amoretta/Annmoretta Thompson. They in turn had my grandmother Mabel Ernstine Willard born 12 March 1902 who married my grandfather Daniel Lester Steele.
All parties above born and died in New Hampshire.
Sue
