From my notes, I show: William Fell of Baltimore Co., MD area, married a woman named Ann and was alive after 1750.From BALTIMORE COUNTY FAMILIES, p. 215: William Fell, m. Ann ----, and had issue:Lucy, b. 24 Aug. 1731; Christopher, b. 13 Jan. 1733.(133:38) William Fell, in Nov. 1750, was conveyed 50 ac. Liverpool by James Gardner, schoolteacher.(385:93)
This William Fell (husband of Ann ---- and father of Lucy Fell, b. 1731) was apparently alive after 1750, and so he would not have been the same William Fell who married Sarah Bond, as that William Fell died before 13 Feb. 1747/48.
My "uncle", William Fell (1697-1647/48), was the son of Edward and Anne (Perry) Fell who lived at Ulverston, Trinkeld and Dragley Beck, Lancashire, England.William came to Maryland in the 1720s or so; he married Sarah Bond 18 January 1731/32 in Baltimore and had children: Ann, Edward, Janet, Margaret and Catherine Fell.
William's older brother, Edward Fell (1686-1743) also emigrated to Maryland.Edward married Sarah Thomas in 1730; they had only one daughter (named Ann) survive them.
These two had brothers named John and Henry (also sons of Edward and Anne (Perry) Fell of Ulverston area, Lancashire).I know that Henry had children, but I don't know if any of these others came to Maryland.
