Samuel H. Reel Called By Death Rites Incomplete, For Jenera Man
Samuel H. Reel, 73, of Jenera, a farmer and carpenter, died in Blanchard Valley Hospital at 9:15 o'clock last night of a heart ailment. He was ill two months.
Born in Van Buren Township, Oct. 16, 1883, he was a son of John and Nancy (Fellers) Reel. He married Chloe Arras, who survives, along with two children, Mrs. Harry Ream, Jenera Route 1, and Luther, Deer Lodge, Mont.
Also surviving are a brother, Raymond, of Jenera and two sisters, Emma and Etta Reel, of Findlay; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Three brothers are dead.
He was a member of the Jenera village council and a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Services are incomplete. The body is at the Barnhart Memorial.
