Celeste,Have you done any research in Greene County NY?
In the IGI I found a Peter Felter's Baptism to Abraham and Elizabeth Joy Felter, but do not know if this is the right parents.

I did not find anything on his brother Abraham Felter in Greene Co. NY.Have you done a search of Will's in Greene County NY?Someone else told me that Peter's father was George Felter and Anna Brink but have not offered proof.It is very hard to research New York state by mail.Addresses are hard to come by.Thanks Shirley
