I just got back thinking about the possible FENLASON / KIDDER connection again, and re-found your posting.
I remember reading it before, but I don't remember whether we corresponded (off the Board).I just checked my old e-mails and I don't see your e-mail address.
If I didn't say it before, I am interested in receiving any FENLASON information you would like to offer. And, I would like to know more about your grandfather in Princeton, ME.
FYI:I continue to try to find out whether the FENLASON children in very early Crawford, ME, had an older step-brother (half-brother?), named J. Calvin KIDDER.
FYI:Yes, that mailboat accident in St. Andrews Bay in Feb. 1799 is when Calvin KIDDER died. His only child, J. Calvin KIDDER, was born in Jan. 1799.The family lived in St. Stephen, NB, at the time.(Then called Schoodic, NS?)
I believe that Nathaniel and Mary FENLASON lived in St. Stephen, NB, when they first married. And, that is another clue to my "guess" that the name of Mary when she married Nathaniel in 1803 was .. Mrs. Mary (GREENLAW) KIDDER, a widow.
