Is it possible that "Relf" was a member of the family of Zachariah James Fenley and his second wife Fannie Cozby? Some of them were born in the early 1870s. Todd Duke, in his "Duke, Teeter, Means..." family tree lists about 5 children in this family. Fannie died in Dallas Co. in 1924, and daughter Carrie's family (husband William R. Snowden) is listed in the 1920 Census for Dallas Co. It's interesting, after following members of the Fenley family through the wilderness, sometimes in exciting or perilous circumstances, to see some of them settling into ordinary jobs like working in a cotton mill and a candy factory.
